The start of each New Year offers a fresh chance to see God at work and watch as He continues to be faithful. At Crossroads Clinic, we get to experience this firsthand. We have kicked off the New Year with a bang, and we are thrilled with how 2024 has begun.
A young woman reached out to our clinic this month, thinking that abortion was her only choice. After speaking with a staff member and scheduling an appointment, she decided she needed to pray about the decision. Once walking strongly with the Lord, she had met man who contributed to her eventual walking away from her faith. She found herself engaging in behaviors and activities that were once off-limits. This resulted in an unplanned pregnancy. Despite having strayed, something in her told her she needed to seek God’s wisdom in this decision. It was during that moment, she realized that she could not go through with her plan for abortion. Although having changed her mind, she kept her appointment with Crossroads to discuss other options and to see if her pregnancy was viable.
Upon visiting with a client advocate and hearing about God’s love and forgiveness, she was moved. She confessed she wanted her faith to grow stronger again. Once inside the ultrasound room, she was thrilled to see not only one baby in her womb, but two! In her decision to choose life, she unknowingly had chosen life for two babies.
Please join us in praying for this woman and her babies as she continues to press forward with her faith journey and pregnancy. She is one among twelve women who have chosen to do the same this New Year. Praise God! Let’s thank God for His faithfulness and pray that He continues to bring women in whose hearts will be tender to His leading to chose life.
